TESTIMONIALS
Eve is a great hitting and pitching instructor but what you get from her is more than that. I have watched my daughter transition from a quiet shy 9 year old to a confident empowered 17 year old leader on the field. Eve has provided growth opportunities for Lilly at camps and clinics. She truly believes in each girl she coaches. The trust and comradery between her and her students is amazing. Each week going to lessons is a high light of Lilly's week. Eve gives her the opportunity to talk through her swing and helps her to understand the tweaks and transitions. Eve asks for feedback and they work together. I love observing at camp and listening to the young girls so in awe of those helping Eve as junior coaches. My favorite line is "we can be those girls someday too". Eve is truly inspiring the next generations of softball players. The positive and upbeat energy Eve brings to lessons, camps and clinics is undeniable. - Ericka & Steve Bean
“Eve was the first person I called after I talked with my family and team coaches when I committed to the UW, because I think her coaching is one of the main reasons that I got recruited. She explains things in a way that make sense to me, and I know that if I do my part and work hard, she will do whatever she can to help me improve my game”.

"When I was first making my transition from slowpitch to fastpitch, Eve was the one who started it all. From working with her at the University of Washington 'Mini Dawgs' camps when I was twelve, to weekly lessons since then and now me being almost 18, she has taught me foundational mechanics and beyond in my pitching. She is always in a cheerful mood, and brings positivity to every situation. Because of the hard work and perseverance she's bestowed in me, I have been presented the opportunity to play D1 softball at my dream school, Stanford University. Though some lessons may have ended in tears, rages or smiles, Eve has always believed in my ability as a pitcher, and a person which has taught me to never doubt myself or my skills."

“If you’re looking to achieve the highest level of training in the circle or at the plate, Eve Gaw’s knowledge and ability to teach the game of softball is unparalleled. The growth of our young ladies from their skills to an understanding of the mental side of the game has taken them to the next level. On behalf of the Redhawks Fastpitch organization, Eve, thank you for all your hard work and positive influence in the continued development of our young ladies”.

I have been working with Eve as a parent and as a coach for over 8 years now. She helped my daughter grow from a shy little 11 year old with a 40 (maybe) mph fastball to the college pitcher and hitter she is today. Her ability to coach and help players get better is only surpassed by her success as a mentor, role model, and advocate for young female athletes. I can say without any doubt my daughter Hanako would not be where she is today without Eve. As a coach, I have had dozens of players go to Eve because there is no pitching or hitting coach out there that I trust more to be a positive influence in young players lives.

All four of my daughters have taken lessons with Eve. Her approach to lessons is to work on the mechanical aspects and self confidence. She expects her athletes to provide feedback for themselves which allows her to partner with them in making the correct adjustments. My two oldest daughters even kept in contact with her when they went to college. Because of Eve's background playing collegiate ball at a high level, she was able to help them with their mental approach to the game. Eve is a quality coach and an amazing role model for female athletes.
